SBK Lasik is a procedure which uses a Moria SBK (Sub-Bownman-Keratomileusis) blade to create a corneal flap and then applies a multi-point laser to change the corneal structure (Carl Zeiss Mel 90 system) to replace the corneal structure.

4. How does the SBK Lasik surgery work ?

Your eyes will be sanitized and then applied with numbing drops before the surgery. The surgery duration is around 15 – 20 minutes

3. Apply a multi-point Excimer laser to remove myopia.

4. Return the corneal flap to its original position and complete the surgery.

What Should I Do Before My SBK Lasik Surgery

DO NOT contact lenses before examination and surgery: at least 1 month for Orthor K overnight contact lenses, 2 weeks for soft and daily contact lenses.
DO NOT makeup and use cosmetics, keep your eyes and face clean on the day of surgery.
DO NOT wear tight pullovers or shirts made of fur
EAT AND DRINK normally, do not use alcohol or stimulants on the day of surgery. Continue using your prescription drugs
GET enough sleep and stay comfortable
DO NOT drive by yourself on the day of surgery
