In particular, Mr. Kondo will conduct an in-depth and thorough vision test according to Japanese standard procedures, which includes the method of testing for compatibility.
Eye fusion is the ability to see clearly with both eyes at the same time. Poor visual acuity is when the patient's visual acuity can reach 10/10 in each eye, but when looking at the same time with both eyes, the image is not clear. This condition comes from an inhibition in the brain that causes the patient to see with only one eye.
It is very important to check the compatibility of vision, to help patients better understand their vision, and to assist doctors in assessing and predicting the patient's postoperative visual quality.
Note before examination: Discontinue use at least 2 weeks in advance for soft contact lenses or at least 1 month for Ortho-K night hard contact lenses for accurate test parameters.
Vision parameters are an important factor in deciding the appropriate surgical method as well as predicting the outcome after surgery. Through intensive tests from Refractive Specialists from Japan, patients will be thoroughly evaluated for their visual acuity to serve as advice on optimal surgical methods.
